Description:

Our take on a classic summer ale. A toast to weeds, rays, and summer haze. A light, crisp ale for mowing lawns, hitting lazy fly balls, and communing with nature, Hocus Pocus is offered up as a summer sacrifice to clodless days.

Its malty sweetness finishes tart and crisp and is best apprediated with a wedge of orange.

Think of it as an entry point to craft beer for the mass-market beer drinker.

Appearance - 4.0

It pours a slightly hazy straw color with about 1 1/2 fingers of white head. The head lingers for almost half the beer and leaves a lot of lacing on the inside of the glass.

Aroma - 3.0

Hints of lemon and wheat.

Mouthfeel - 3.0

A light-bodied beer with the right amount of carbonation.

Taste - 3.0

Has a crisp lemon taste that finishes dry. The lemon is pretty subtle and not too overpowering. It has a tiny hint of hops in the end.

Overall - 3.0

Very refreshing wheat offering. As the product states it's a summer ale, so would be great after being outdoors. It would be very easy to throw back a couple of these.
