Appearance - 3.5

Has one fingers worth of off white head. The beer is a red/brown copper color. There were tiny suspended flakes throughout. It leaves a small amount of lacing, but the head doesn't stick around too long before dissapating.

Aroma - 4.0

Sweet caramel malt, and some distant hops.

Mouthfeel - 4.0

A very smooth feeling, and slightly thick. Has a nice consistency. A moderate amount of carbonation is present.

Taste - 4.0

The sweet caramel malts are up front, followed shortly by the hops kicking in to balance out the sweetness. The hops flavor lingers after it goes down. There was a larger hop flavor than i was expecting, the aroma is misleading.

Overall - 4.0

A very drinkable beer. I could deffinetly session this one. I was a fan of the suprise hops flavor and would reccomend it to others. It's deffinetly good, however there is nothing particuarly outstanding about it.
