Samuel Adams® Summer Ale is an American wheat ale. This summer seasonal uses malted wheat as well as lemon zest and grains of paradise, a rare pepper from Africa first used as a brewing spice in the 13th Century to create a crisp and spicy flavor and body. The ale fermentation imparts a background tropical fruit note reminiscent of mangos and peaches. All of these come together to create a quenching, clean finishing beer perfect for those warm Summer days

light, cloudy, yet tempting

beer + lemon = smells good.
Mouthfeel - 5.0
very smooth, really crisp and satisfying
Taste - 5.0
very refreshing, cold, grains of paradise, lemon, love.
Overall - 5.0
I love this beer. Nothing beats it on a nice summer night.

Appearance - 4.0
Has a golden look and is pretty cloudy. Pours about 1 fingers worth of head with minimal lacing and fizzles down pretty quick.
Aroma - 4.0
Can make out some hops and a zesty lemon smell.
Mouthfeel - 3.0
A lighter beer with a medium amount of carbonation.
Taste - 4.0
Has a slightly malty flavor in the beginning followed by the zesty lemon which finishes crisp.
Overall - 4.0
Extremely smooth and refreshing. This is the definition of a summer beer. Could easily knock back a couple of these at outdoor summer events.
