Appearance - 3.5
Pours a clear copper color with lots of carbonation bubbles visible. It produces about 1 finger of off-white head that doesn't stick around long and leaves a ring of lacing.
Aroma - 4.5
A pretty fruity aroma, smells like an IPA, with lots of citrus and a small amount of caramel. It also has a subtle apricot aroma near the end.
Mouthfeel - 4.0
A light-medium bodied beer with a higher amount of carbonation which works well with this brew.
Taste - 3.5
A little bit of malt up front which is quickly super-ceded by citrus and then apricot. The apricot flavor is much more apparent in the taste then in the aroma. It finishes crisp and wet with a tart aftertaste.
Overall - 3.5
A nice mix of flavors, the alcohol is hidden well. Even though it smells like an IPA the apricot flavor shines through in the taste, but is never too overwhelming. A good balance of flavors.
