Description:
This West Coast-Style India Pale Ale is extravagantly hopped, full flavored, medium bodied and copper colored. A menagerie of hops is combined throughout the brewing process to impart specific characteristics. Hops used include Simcoe for a unique fruitiness and grapefruit zest, Columbus for strong hop pungency, Centennial for pine and citrus notes, and Cascade for floral aroma.

An excellent example of a west coast style IPA. This beer is full of hops and has an unbeatable aroma. If you are into hoppy beers, this should definitely be on your list to try.

Appearance - 4.0
Pours 1 1/2 fingers off off-white head that settles fairly quickly, leaving nice lacing. It has a hazy copper amber color. Hard to see through, looks very thick.
Aroma - 5.0
Sweet caramelized malts at the front then lots of floral/citrus hops on the nose.
Mouthfeel - 4.0
Medium bodied with good carbonation. Feels slightly heavier and smooth.
Taste - 4.5
The malts definitely take a back seat to the hops which are prevalent from the beginning to the end. The hops flavor is more intense than the aroma gives away. Finishes dry and leaves a nice hops bitterness.
Overall - 4.5
A great beer. Hops heads like myself will love it. It's also pretty drinkable, the bitterness doesn't last long enough to destroy it's drink-ability. Highly recommended.
