Appearance - 4.0
Pours 1 1/2 finger of off-white head with a decent retention. There is some nice lacing left behind as it settles down. The beer is a dark copper color with sediment visible.
Aroma - 3.0
A sweet malty smell and some grassy hops make up the aroma.
Mouthfeel - 3.0
A medium bodied beer, with some pretty active carbonation.
Taste - 4.0
A mix of sweet and biscuity malts dominate the front. Next are up are a variety of spices, nutmeg and cinnamon stand out the most to me. The grassy hops make finish the beer. The hops aren't overpowering and give some balance to the beer.
Overall - 4.0
Not your typical winter beer. It has a good drink-ability and tastes like the holidays.
