Appearance - 3.5

Pours a light amber that you can see through. It has 1 1/2 fingers of white head that leaves a little bit of lacing and has a decent retention finishing as a ring.

Aroma - 3.5

Sweet caramel malt and citrus make up the nose, pretty balanced between the two aromas.

Mouthfeel - 3.5

A light-medium bodied beer with a slight creamy feel to it.

Taste - 4.0

The hops are much more prevelant in the taste than in the aroma. The malts hit first, caramel first then some bready malts. Next up is citrus and it finishes with a grapfruit like bitterness.

Overall - 3.5

A well rounded IPA. It just above average all around. This is my second offering from the Nectar Ales, and I would certainly try more of their brews.
