Appearance - 4.0
Pours two fingers of fluffy white head that leaves loads of lacing and has a great retention. The beer itself is a hazy, golden, orange.
Aroma - 3.5
Definitely smells like a west coast IPA. Lots of citrusy and flowery hops on the nose.
Mouthfeel - 4.0
A light-medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation. Finishes crisp.
Taste - 4.0
Begins with some bready malts. The hops then kick in pretty hard with citrusy hops first followed by the flowery hops leaving a pretty bitter aftertaste. There's a small amount of piny hops sprinkled throughout the end, but the citrus and flowery hops take the show.
Overall - 3.5
A pretty decent IPA. Being west coast style it's a bit hoppier and more bitter than you average IPA, but it goes down well.
